Our shepherd-clothed stewards welcome the guests with a real pastoral meal: "keménylebbencs" (pastry cut into big irregular squares and boiled in the kettle) and a glass of wine.

10:15 Carriage driving into the Puszta

Near the entrance some replicas of ancient shepherds buildings are displayed. The terminal point is the Shepherds Museum showing up nicely against its background, houses an exhibition of the flora and fauna of the region and the life of the shepherds.

 
11:00 Horse-show  
Horse-show, what you can hear in English, German and Hungarian languages.
The horse-show is present by six Hungarian wranglers.

- The rush of the wranglers
- Silk games of the wranglers
- Donkey-seating, horse-laying
- The guests can try to ride on a naked horse

Lunch in the Karikás Csárda.
"A" Menu offer:
- Apricot brandy
- Goulash soup cooked in a stew-pot free
- Chicken slices a' la "Csikós" (with a ragout from green peas, chickens liver, tomato and paprika) with mixed garnish
- Seasonal salad
- Flaming pancake a' la Bugac with apricot
- Wine unrestricted, sparkling water, coffee

"B" Menu offer:

- "Betyár"-soup (Tarragon- ragout-soup)
- Puszta pörkölt (Hungarian stew with potato)

- "Tejespite" (Milk-pie) with apricot marmalade

After the puszta-program the journey is continuing to Kalocsa.

 

Kalocsa is a little town in Southern Hungary, in Bács-Kiskun district. It is the mother country of the most famous "Hungaricum", the paprika, and the birthplace of thousand years old archbishopric and the world-famous folk art Kalocsa. Our guests meet their local guide in the Baroque centre of the city, on the main square.
At the sightseeing you can get to know the history, folk-art of the thousand years old city and the sights of Kalocsa. In the centre of the city you can find two gems of Italian Baroque architecture: the Main Cathedral and the Archiepiscopal Palace. In the Paprika House you can get an inside view of growing's and processing's progression of world famous folk-art of Kalocsa.
Our guests meet the world-famous folk art of Kalocsa, among others at the hand-painted railway station. It counts as a peculiarity in Europe as well.
Upon request our guests can get to know the work of our "Little masters" in the course of a short presentation (wall-painting, machine-made embroidery, hand-made embroidery, egg-painting.

The program is closing with dinner.  
You can get the chance to have a taste of harmonic lusciousness of paprika-dishes and a cheerful folk-art program can make this pleasant meal more rich memorable.
