The City Hall in
Kecskemét was built in Art Nouveau Style relying upon the plans of Ödön Lechner
the creator of Hungarian architectural style of centenary. In it's
ceremony hall the frescos of Bertalan Székely perpetuate Hungarian
history from "Vérszerződés" (Blood-sealed treaty) until "Kiegyezés" (The
compromise of 1867). Presenting the prominent figures of bloody battles,
great glories and revolutions our guests can get to know Hungarian history
in course of an exciting performance. |

The main square served formerly as a market place - know as one of the most beautiful city centres in the country. Its determinant buildings are the Big Church and the Town Hall. |

Near the entrance some replicas of ancient shepherds buildings are displayed. The terminal point is the Shepherds Museum showing up nicely against its background, houses an exhibition of the flora and fauna of the region and the life of the shepherds. |
