You
arrive at the Katrikás Csárda, where you are transferred by horse-carriages to the farmhouse.
Our shepherd-clothed stewards welcome the guests with a special Hungarian salted pastry "pogácsa"
and with brandy. The farmhouses located in
the Kiskunság National Park in the Puszta, in an idyllic surround. From the wide
garden you can watch a wonderful pageant of the ancient Hungarian grey cattle,
and the "racka" sheep, and the endless puszta.The
peasant consists of a living and a farm building with other complementary buildings,
like draw well, oven in the yard and a barn. The houses with the straw roof and white
walls retain the traditions of the folk architecture.
Before or after the lunch (how you wish) you can take a carriage driving in the
Puszta and after this, you can enjoy a wonderful horse-show and visit the Pastoral Museum.
In the spread tables you can find typical Hungarian cold peasant dishes, such as: homemade
sausages, bacon, greaves, paprika, tomato, gammon, many sorts of cheese and homemade strudel.
You can enjoy the goulash cooked on free-fire and the wine directly from the barrel.
